| Intelogix spreads its’ wings into Alaska with Quality Sales Food Service Located 358 miles north of Anchorage, in the ‘Golden Heart of Alaska’ – Fairbanks Alaska, Quality Sales Food Service is the newest distributor to make that ever important step towards fully automating their customer procurement processes by purchasing Intelogix’s OneLink web-ordering application. Quality Sales Food Service has been serving the Alaskan interior since 1956. Grounded in the belief and practice of superior service and an exceptional quality of product, Quality Sales has grown to be the number one food supplier for the interior. On May 1st of 1997, Sales Associates of Alaska acquired Quality Meats Co. of Fairbanks, Alaska. In order to retain the reputation of Quality Meats Co., they merged the names of the two companies to Quality Sales Foodservice. This acquisition resulted in an increased marketing area from 200 sq. miles to a current 371,000 sq. miles marketing area. As part of the expansion they have become a full line food service distributor, and many new SKU's have been slotted and many more are on the way. In 1997, Quality Sales established a relationship with Golbon Marketing Group to share their buying volume. This new partnership with the private Golbon label, allowed Quality Sales to lower prices and to continue providing the quality their customers had grown accustomed to. |

Intelogix is very energized by this partnership as it is the first distributor from the Alaskan region that has chosen OneLink to electronically integrate their ordering processes. Don Nace, owner of Quality Sales, is excited about his new online ordering software, as one of the initial benefits that he can see coming out of this partnership with Intelogix, is an overall increase in customer satisfaction. With so many of Quality Sales’ customers being hundreds of miles away, online ordering will eliminate his customers having to make long distance phone calls to place their order. His customers can now order day or night; and they also have access to immediate pricing which increases impulse buying. By employing OneLink in their everyday transactions, Quality Sales will not only improve their relationship with their customers, but it is anticipated that they will improve their company’s overall productivity and efficiency. |
